It is the policy of Ryce East Africa Ltd to ensure that staffs have the needed resources and systems to enable them perform their duties effectively and efficiently in order to enhance customer satisfaction. In this connection, resource needs are evaluated regularly and provided.
Recruitment :
- It is the policy of Ryce East Africa Ltd. to recruit competent staff to perform its operations. However, the management has adopted continual training and evaluation of the staff to update their skills for the changing customer needs.
- The Senior Human Resources and Administration Manager has documented the qualification and experience required for any particular job. On completion of the annual appraisals, the Heads of Divisions and Departments identify the training needs for the staff in their divisions and departments and discuss with the Senior Human Resources and Administration Manager on the actions to be taken. Once staff attend any training, this is followed up with an evaluation of its effectiveness.
- It is the responsibility of Heads of Divisions and Departments to ensure that their staff are aware of the importance of their activities in relation to the quality management system of Ryce East Africa Ltd.
- Training, education, skills and experience records are maintained in personal files of each employee and are used as a tool for personnel performance evaluation.
The Infrastructure
- Offices and the work areas are spacious enough to provide adequate workspace, lighting and ventilation for the comfort of staff for maximum productivity.
- Rest rooms are located within the buildings to ensure comfort, safety and security of the staff at all times.
- Staff are provided with adequate process equipment/tools, which include computers, fax, telephone facilities, transport (wherever required) and the necessary support services including information systems.
Work environment
- Mutually beneficial customer – supplier relationships are encouraged in this company to ensure a conducive working environment.
- Rest rooms are located within the buildings to ensure comfort, safety and security of the staff at all times.
- Physical and environmental conditions, safety, health and welfare of the staff form part of the work environment to ensure staff comfort when performing their tasks.
